Google has admitted to arranging Fitbit for $2.1 billion in cash.
Fitbit health and wellness data will not be employed for Google ads, according to a press announcement.

“In slumber health, for example, trackers are not verified by sleep experts because they are not using methods that are proven to work,” Panda claims: “Monitoring sleep needs looking at the whole picture, including brainpower, not just your heart rate and change. Quick jams via pills or gadgets should not be a replacement for common clinical usage.

According to Panda, companies like Google need to offer healthcare technology that connects programs shown to occur in behavioral alterations. “Gadgets might help, but only when they help real behavioral science based on what has been proven to work in the therapeutic community,” he states.
