Epilepsy is a subspecialty of neurology focused on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with epilepsy, including new-onset, medically refractory epilepsy, psychogenic nonepileptic seizures, and epilepsy in special populations (the elderly, women, patients with co-morbidities).
