An ophthalmologist has the knowledge and professional skills needed to provide comprehensive eye and vision care. Their activities include patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to Hospital Medicine. The term 'hospitalist' refers to physicians whose practice emphasizes providing care for hospitalized patients.
