One Drop, a provider of digital care solutions for people living with diabetes and other chronic conditions, announced on Monday it had taken all of the assets and mental property of Sano Intelligence, an innovator in health sensing technology.
The One Drop platform brings accessible diabetes care to everyone with diabetes and a smartphone, as well as their businesses, insurers, and health care providers.
One Drop’s customer settings are ready for getting in-app (iOS and Android) and at getonedrop.com. The One Drop app is prepared for free download worldwide (iOS and Android).
The deal was structured as an asset acquisition, and several Sano team members will be joining One Drop. The almost decade of work put into improving the Sano connected glucose-sensing program will live on in a complete multi-sensorial solution from One Drop.
Health Sensing Program
The proposed expansion marks a notable milestone in One Drop’s effort to bring personalized, adaptive, combined health solutions to people in real-time via their mobile phones.
One Drop will leverage the collected assets, including silicon-sensing generation infrastructure, to design, produce, and commercialize a painless, silicon-based continuous health sensing platform for use across complicated conditions.
“Sano and One Drop have a shared vision of changing traditional healthcare into proactive, preventative self-care,” replied Sano chief executive officer and founder, Ashwin Pushpala.
“We are thrilled to combine our sensor and device expertise with the strength of One Drop’s data-driven sinister skills and user-centered design to create a complete collision avoidance system for health and wellness.”
Adaptive Support
To date, One Drop has received 9 billion longitudinal health data points across 75 biomarkers from nearly 2.5 million users. One Drop’s continuous health sensing program will add thousands of new data objects per user per day, thereby increasing the machine training models behind One Drop’s predictive and adaptive support skills across multiple states.
“Telehealth and digital self-management of chronic conditions are more powerful than ever, and the advantages of real-time health sensing are accessible,” stated One Drop CEO and founder, Jeff Dachis.
“By offering endless health sensing technology to One Drop’s personalized solutions for a fast-growing variety of health issues, we can allow people to make informed, proactive decisions and anticipate and identify obstacles before they happen.”
Consumer Friendly Ways
One Drop has developed its diabetes resolution to offer data-driven tools and personalized care for people living with type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, prediabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or any organization of these requirements.
Simultaneously, One Drop has increased its direct-to-consumer ways by proposing end-to-end employer and payor offerings, digital-only offerings, and broader retail availability to reach even larger groups. The company’s unique program combines individual health coaching, related devices, and AI-powered Predictive Insights to inspire positive behavior change. The One Drop digital therapeutics purpose is uniquely placed on changing results for all. “Our mission at One Drop is to relentlessly promote and enable the lives of ALL people with diabetes through award-winning customer skills, superior clinical efficacy, and computerized decision support,” said One Drop CEO, Jeff Dachis.
